This large scale project is being delivered in joint venture with EllisDon Construction. It consists of the construction of two new buildings that will provide additional 625 beds to accommodate university students. After the demolition of the Emily Carr and Margaret Newton Residences, the first building will be located to the south of the Student Union Building and feature a modern 600-seat dining hall and servery. The Cadboro Commons Building will be replaced by the second student residence which will also include conference, meeting and academic spaces on the main floor. Collaborating with world-class architects and consultants and working side-by-side with a leading construction company, Kinetic is actively participating in the delivery of each phase of the project, from pre-construction, demlolition, construction and will follow through to commissioning of this remarkable facility in 2023.
