Remembering Rick L’Ecuyer
On June 6, 2017, the Kinetic family lost a great man and friend: Rick L’Ecuyer, Kinetic’s long-time shop manager, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer.
Our deepest and most heartfelt condolences to his wife Shelly and his children, as well as his friends and family.
He will be greatly missed but not forgotten.
Rick was the friendly face that greeted you at the tool shop, jumping in to help on site or the happy guy you bump into while walking down the halls of the Victoria office.
We were fortunate enough to know and consider him a friend. Whatever your relationship or interaction was with Rick, it was no doubt that we all knew him to be a great man; always helpful, positive and thankful in any situation and an all-around great colleague and friend.
Some of the thoughts from his colleagues are:
“He was such a happy guy.”
“Rick was a great guy, always helpful, and always projecting a very positive attitude.”
“I’ll never forget the strength and positivity he showed us all as he fought the battle of his life.”
“Our family has lost a great man.”
“We lost a great colleague and friend.”
“Rick was inspiration to us all and me in particular. He was always very positive in attitude.”
“His focus on the positive in any situation is an inspiration and a reminder to me to look for the bright side when I’m feeling down.”
