Kinetic in the Community

Community involvement and giving back is a cornerstone of our corporate identity and culture. Over the past 27 years, Kinetic has invested both time and monetary support to numerous local organizations and charities, events, and children’s sports teams. Kinetic has participated in and carried out a wide variety of fundraising activities over the years, including two annual events to facilitate fundraising: a golf tournament in the fall and an employee Christmas Party. Through both of these events, employee contributions via payroll deductions and fundraising efforts are matched by Kinetic.

In what is rapidly becoming a favourite annual event, Kinetic once again proudly participated in Prostate Canada's Movember to raise awareness for the oft-forgotten cause of men’s health. Our first year with a team, we raised over $2000 and faced down a lot of stares due to our hairy but stiff upper lip. Thank you to everyone who donated!

Our fall golf tournament is fast approaching with all contributions once again going to the United Way. We have been a proud supporter of the United Way for years, earning Gold Awards and a Spirit Award in the process. Along with our industry partner Flynn Canada, Kinetic has decorated a tree at the annual “Festival of Trees” supporting BC Children’s Hospital, winning second place in 2009. This year Kinetic rasied over $1400 for the BCCH.  

Kinetic Construction is a proud partner with McDonald’s Restaurants and their franchisees as they move ahead with Destination 2012. During the last McHappy Day Kinetic employees helped serve fries and burgers, all in support of Ronald McDonald House.

While Kinetic is proud of our accomplishments as General Contractors and Construction Managers, we are equally proud of our community involvement and will continue to give back.
