Kinetic’s President is “Person of the Year”

Victoria business leader and Kinetic’s President Bill Gyles, was honoured during the CCA National Conference in Panama. Bill received recognition from his peers,construction industry leaders,for his professional and respectful approach to the business of construction and for his contributions to build a better industry.

“Once again this year, the national awards program has showcased the incredible contributions from firms, associations and people across the country,” said Frank Rizzardo, 2013 Canadian
Construction Association chair. “The Canadian construction industry consistently demonstrates its ability to achieve excellence, whether through innovation, community stewardship or environmental achievement. As an association, we are proud to recognize these accomplishments each year through the CCA National Awards.”

As President and CEO of Kinetic, Bill works with a team of up to 150 people at three branch offices, building projects with a total annual construction value of $50M.He has given countless hours over the years to the construction community, through his participation on numerous associations, including the Canadian, BC and Vancouver Island Construction Associations (VICA). A special Kinetic Construction initiative he launched for all employees, from senior management to labourers, is a career enhancement program matching abilities, talent, and potential with appropriate training and mentoring. He believes in leading by example, and hiring smart people who share his values and work ethics.
